Dearest Divya,
Happy fifth wedding anniversary. You must be enjoying your holiday in Maharashtra. As I write you this mail, I cant help but remember how five years ago we all had a great time in your wedding.
As you were going through your wedding rituals and promises with Gaurav, I had just one thought in my mind -- Will you be able to remain my same old Divya who won the heart of many by her simplicity. The Divya with whom I grew and could share anything under the sun. With Gaurav will you be still as joyful as you had always been.
Five years have flown by and I have only one thing to say-- Thank you Gaurav. :)
You have kept my friend the way she is. In fact evn if she has changed, you have just added 'more' to every superlative we associate with her -- joyful, undemanding, pure, basically without any wax.
Our recent trip to Hyderabad has only made me admire our respective partners. After a long time I took a trip which was more about people than the destination. I am still in the reflective mood and every time I think of the time we spent in Hyderabad, the trip we took down the memory lane, my inner self lets out a big thank you to Gaurav, Swagatika and Krishanu. It is during these times we realise the importance to have an understanding partner -- one who allows us to take these guilt-free nostalgic trips.
And your anniversary happens to be the occasion I have written my first blog. So hopefully I will have more to share with you in the coming years.
Lots of love,
Suparna
